I really enjoyed the presentations, and to have the opportunity to talk to the participants. Most said they worked on the project for one year. The paper was a total surprise to me! It was reassuring to hear Mary Irwin admit she was a digital immigrant. I wonder what the straw was for? The Ferris Buehller in me wanted to shoot it across the room. I restrained myself - I didn't want to embarrass Rita. I also noticed that they worked as a team: supported each other, helped with the presentations, really new each other. They also confirmed for me that Amy is there to help us. We just have to ask. I also learned a new word: andragogy. I noticed the presentations had specific sections: Theoretical Perspective, Intervention, Evaluation, Results, and Lesson Learned.

Okay! After wasting two days just trying to open this blog, I started another on WordPress, only to be able to open this one! Wasted days and wasted nights. I could write a song about that. My draft contract is also posted on the discussion board. Honestly, I doubt if anyone wants to have a discussion on my contract - boring. I will take a lap top with me so I can stay in touch with my History of Instructional Design team. I think that's what we are called.

Week One Relection

Whew! I thought I was ahead of the game. Not so. Next week will be a whirlwind. Two and a half days of peer mediation that will be culminated by a trip to Stockton with my fellow classmates. I did find time to peruse the Blackboard and post my contract, which I can now see is "over the top". Now I need to back up and scale down.
